How to clean your diamonds – the basics

Keep your diamonds clean.Diamonds often stay with us throughout our lives. Just as we care for ourselves, our precious stones need to be maintained so they continue to look their best.

Women who own diamond jewelry should make sure to clean it at least once a month. Those who really want to make their diamonds shine should shoot for once a week.

Keeping a diamond clean doesn’t have to be a long process. In fact, only a few household items are required to make your ice sparkle.

For starters, locate some mild detergent.

Mix one part of this with two parts warm water, and let your jewelry soak in the mixture. After an hour (at the most), take a soft cloth and wipe all of the items down. Use a soft toothbrush to gently buff away any dirt or film still left on the diamonds – but try not to use a new one, as the bristles may scratch the surface of the piece.

Next, transfer everything to a tea strainer and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Cleaning jewelry doesn’t have to be a chore. Making your items sparkle can be fun! So get out your diamond jewelry, it’s time to make it look amazing.ADNFCR-2807-ID-19793567-ADNFCR
