Laura Cheadle’s Boho-Chic Jewelry

Laura Cheadle is our newest Guest Stylist at Ice. This singer-songwriter has shared a stage with The Jonas Brothers, Sister Hazel & Spin Doctors to name a few. Here she is to discuss her Boho-Chic jewelry pieces.

I was raised by a musician father and an equally creative mother, my style has always been, what I like to describe as “Bohemian, Hippie Chic”. I still love to look elegant but I also adore those punches of color and really interesting designs. With Ice, I was able to easily find so many amazing pieces that pulled my style together perfectly!

Here are some of my favorite pieces from my Boho-Chic Jewelry Selections.

Shamballa Bracelet (pictured right) instantly grabbed my attention. This bracelet is the epitome of me as a performer in my element with the guitar in my hand and microphone in front of me.  I can close my eyes and picture myself on stage, wearing this bracelet with the spotlight shining on me and telling stories to the audience about my music.

Laura Cheadle Dangle Earrings

Multi-Gemstone Dangle Earrings: If you’ve ever met me, you’ll know immediately that I LOVE, LONG COLORFUL EARRINGS! I’ve always been drawn to multi-colored jewelry. I feel like it really boosts your look! I love to tell jokes and laugh on stage and I feel this really shows off my personality. I also can’t get enough of long dangling earrings and with my long hair and never ending dancing energy on stage, I feel these earrings are a perfect fit for me.

As a touring performer, I do many TV Appearances and one thing that a host never fails to comment on is the necklaces I wear. I wanted to choose a few that really fit my look:

Laura Cheadle Necklaces

Green Amethyst Pendant: There are many reasons why I chose this gorgeous pendant. My favorite color is green and my birth stone is Amethyst so those  are obvious reasons! With the Holidays approaching, this pendant would be a perfect gift (especially to yourself!) What is also unique about this piece is that I can wear it to a very upscale occasion or while on stage in an intimate concert setting.

Lois Hill necklace: This round granulated sterling silver necklace by designer Lois Hill is sexy yet subtle that will go with jeans or a dress. The design is a conversation starter and perfect for any media event I go on where I want to dress up different outfits.

Diamond Pisces Pendant: Not only am I a proud Pisces, but I feel like this necklace is very creative and artistic. I sing funky music and I could wear this necklace while I groove on stage.  Even though my sign is a Pisces, I’d easily wear the other sign pieces by Ice which are equally as cool!

I look forward to hearing what you think of my collection and hope you can wear these pieces and feel as great as I do!

New Fall TV Fashion to Look Out For

September is the month of season finale’s of your favorite summer TV shows like Entourage, True Blood and Breaking Bad but what we’ve all been waiting for is for our favorite Fall TV shows to premiere. So many Fall shows to keep your fashionable eye out for wardrobe inspiration. Here are some of our picks for most fashionable TV shows to stay tuned for.

Gossip Girl: Blaire and Serena may be the Queen B’s of the Upper Eastside but they sure know how to dress. You can expect nothing but the best on them from huge designer purses, to big bold necklaces, rings, breathtaking dresses and shoes!! Spoiler Alert! The beautiful Elizabeth Hurley is joining the cast this season and I’m sure she’ll look fabulous.

New Girl: This is a new comedy starring my girl crush Zooey Deschanel. With a last name with Chanel in it you know it’s in her genes to be stylish. Zooey pulls of the adorably cute yet sexy look perfectly and after watching a preview for this show her personal style definitely shines through in her character Jessica Day. The premise of the show is Jessica catches her boyfriend cheating and then moves in with three single guys. Let the good times begin! Can’t wait to watch this.

Charlie’s Angels: Yup, they redid this classic and it actually doesn’t look bad. In the trailer I was pleasantly surprised with how stylish the angels are and loved the long dangly earrings they were sporting. How they run around in them, I don’t know, but they pull it off. I loved the movies with Drew Barrymore and she’s actually the producer of this series so it should be good.

Desperate Housewives: The final season of the show has arrived and the ladies of Wisteria Lane haven’t looked better. Gabrielle and Bree are always the most put together woman on the block in my opinion. I wonder if there will be any new additions to the cast we should be watching out for. I smell drama.

What shows are you most looking forward to watching this Fall?

New Ice: Multi-Gemstone Dangle Earrings

3 3/4 Carat Multi-Gemstone Dangle Earrings

How do you choose just one gemstone to wear? It’s quite hard if you ask me. There are so many gorgeous gems out there.  Some might think you should stick to one gem per outfit but I say mix it up!

To make your life easier, instead of trying to find which gems would go best together we’ve paired multiple gemstones in single jewelry pieces to get this colorful look in a uniformed fashion. We have plenty of multi-gem jewelry at but today I’m gonna show you one of our latest, Citrine, Garnet & Amethyst dangle earrings.  Although technically we are in Spring, the weather hasn’t always been cooperating with us so this is the perfect transition piece between seasons. It has the darker hues of the Marcasite paired perfectly with the bright Spring-like colors. Did I mention it’s only $50? Not bad at all. Plus there’s also a matching bracelet.

What are your favorite gemstones to combine in your jewelry pieces?
