Friends With Benefits in Red

One of the movies I’ve been excited to see is Friends With Benefits staring the stunning Mila Kunis and the gorgeous Justin Timberlake. Remember when we saw them present an award at the Oscars together? During our Oscar Twitter Party so many of you tweeted that those two should hurry up and get together – they would make such a gorgeous couple! Anyways…back on track…the movie comes out this Friday but the New York premiere was Monday night with all the movie’s stars walking the red carpet.

The color red was the highlight of the night worn by Mila Kunis, the hilarious and adorable Emma Stone and the Entourage’s Emmanuelle Chriqui. Both Mila and Emma opted to pairing the vibrant color with yellow gold jewelry. This really compliments the color red nicely for a subtle classy look. Mila also accessorized with long dangle earrings and kept her neck bare to not over do it. If you’re looking to grab more attention go with white gold or silver like Emmanuelle did by stacked silver bangles.

Mom and Me Collection

Matching Bangles for you & your little one

As kids we always looked up to adults, wanting to be just like them. We played mommy and daddy, followed our parents around copying everything they did. The first thing my nieces do when they come over is go straight to my room to dress up in my high heels, purses and especially my jewelry. This is why I absolutely LOVE one of our newest collections at…the Mom and Me Collection!

You can get a matching bangle bracelet for both you and your daughter. They come in a few different colors like red, white and blue where you can mix and match or get the same color for the ultimate Mom and Me look.

You don’t have to be a Mommy to enjoy this collection either. You can purchase them for yourself, your nieces or just your daughters as a cute sister’s bracelet. I’m definitely going to get some matching bangles for myself and my nieces. :)

What do you think of this idea of matching adult and children’s jewelry?

J.K Rowling Blooms at the Harry Potter Premiere

This weekend is the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two: The Boy Who Lived Come To Die (longest movie title ever!!!) Last week the movie premiered in London where the movie’s stars walked the red carpet including Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe. The Harry Potter movie franchise would be nothing without the woman behind the best selling books J.K Rowling.

The author looked beautiful at the premiere in a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown. The gown was accessorized with matching floral earrings shaped like pink flowers and green stems. The sparkly earrings made her face glow and were enough of a statement piece to not even need anything around her bare neck.

To get a similar look for much less check out these Peridot & Garnet flower earrings at These beauties are on sale for only $35 and most definitely one of our customer’s favorite jewelry finds.

A Royal Wedding Without Jewelry?

Just as the media has finally died down on the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton another wedding occurs for the Royal family. This time the nuptials were for Prince Albert and the newly appointed Princess of Monaco, Charlene Wittstock who got married this past weekend.

Like the other Royal Wedding we couldn’t help but get excited to see the dress and the jewels. But wow were we ever disappointed when we saw bare ears, neck and wrists on the bride. Ok yes she did have over 40,000 Swarovski crystals on her Armani wedding gown and a gorgeous hair barrette but still…we want to see jewels!

So we thought it would be fun to see what you can come up with. Searching which jewelry pieces would you accessorize the Princess bride with? Choose some earrings, bracelets and pendants.

Katie Holmes Wearing Initial Jewelry

We’ve spotted actress Katie Holmes several times wearing an adorable initial pendant. The one she was adorning was not a “K” but an “S” for her little princess Suri.

We have initial pendants similar to Katie’s at accented with diamonds. Most often we hear of our customers buying them for themselves or friends/family. We absolutely love the idea of getting the pendant of your children’s initials. It’s so thoughtful and something that can be passed down to them later on when they start wearing more jewelry.

Do you have or want any initial jewelry?
