One Day Inspired Jewelry

I’m a sucker for romance. Who isn’t, really? So I have been eagerly anticipating the premiere of the movie One Day starting the lovely Anne Hathaway and the charming Jim Sturgess.  The movie, based on the international best-selling novel by David Nichols, spans a 20 year friendship between the two lead characters Emma and Dexter. The two get together once a year since the day they met in 1988.

We loved seeing the fashion & jewelry trends spanning the 20 years in which the film takes place in. Ice put together a collection of 15 jewelry pieces inspired by One Day. The collection includes both classic and whimsical pieces that can look fabulous today as they might have 20 years ago. These timeless pieces include hoop earrings similar to the ones Emma is seen wearing several times over the years, lots of heart jewelry to pair with the love theme and much more. We’ve marked down these pieces by 20% for you to enjoy

Are you planning on seeing the movie One Day? It starts in theaters nationwide this weekend, August 19th.

* Fun Feature on the One Day website is an interactive timeline of what was going on in the world every year on the day they met up on the 20 years the movie takes place in. Check it out here.

In 1999, the year was founded, the #1 song on the radio was Jennifer Lopez’s “If you had my love” (loved this song!) and Richard Gere (so handsome!) was People’s Sexiest Man.

It is romantic to think of a friendship that last for our life time, even when we are far from our friend’s daily life. One day shares our dream that no matter what happens our friendships never die. Just like the everlasting beauty of jewerly, you can take it out, polish it up and once again that glimmer of love is renewed. What a lovely image.
